Get Out For Camping Fun...

We've gone ocean fishing, river fishing, fishing in the bay and have done some great camping. In the Sierra and in the Sacramento valley. Along the Pacific coast as well as in the Wine country of Northern and Central California. Took advantage of the free day to visit a National park namely Yosemite. Back packing in Point Reyes National Seashore is a really great experience. You can hike from the beaches to the forested hills above. A cool trip when the heat is on!

Just getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city is a very relaxing way to spend some time. With friends and family. Every chance we get we go to the coast or the mountains in the Spring. They are the areas with the best weather at this time of year and on into the Summer here in California.

Fishing opportunities are unlimited. The mountains are full of lakes and streams just begging to be explored and the fish are asking to be taken. Catch and Release if that is what you like. Let them grow bigger to give a better fight. Just telling about it I want to be on my way.

Camping season is upon us.

This time of year campers and fishermen are investigating where and when to go in the great outdoors for all the enjoyment that comes with camping and fishing. There are many fun places to camp and even more places to go fishing in the state of California. We have mountains full of lakes that you can hike to or drive to if you have the proper vehicle. It is fun and prductive to have a boat but not vitally necessary. Bank fishing is fun and productive as well. Having done all the above for many years I can say I have really enjoyed much of California and neighboring states as well as ocean fishing. Camping in tents and just sleeping on the ground in the high Sierra after hiking to a great fishing lake. My wife and I have a few places picked out for this summer. Being retired makes it easy for us to choose when to go. We try to camp during the week so the working people can have room to enjoy their weekends.

The Sacramento/San Joaquin delta is a lot of fun to camp with lots of room to fish. The opportunity to catch many different species of fish is a great draw of the Delta. A boat makes it easier to cover more area as bank fishing is sometimes restricted.

Just getting into the outdoors can be very relaxing. Fishing is a fun way to destress. Get some sunshine and feel the quiet that comes with camping.

Just get out and camp as much and as soon as you can! Take the fishing equipment and your family or friends with you for more fun.
